As noted, the relevant instructions were given to the government, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Justice, the SVR, the FSB, the Russian Guard, the FSO, Rosarkhiv and the executive authorities of the constituent entities.
The deadline for execution is July 1.
"... to work out the issue of postponing the All-Russian Population Census to October 2021, including the necessary information to the population," the text says.
On May 19, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Andrei Turchak, at a meeting with the head of state, suggested postponing the event until October, since it overlaps with the timing of the election campaign to the State Duma.
The Russian leader supported the initiative. Rosstat announced the estimated dates - from 1 to 31 October.
