Separation after resignation

The Parliament’s decision came one day before the date of a session set by Parliament to consider a resignation request submitted by MP Al-Ajarma to the Speaker of Parliament days after the Parliament’s decision to freeze Al-Ajarma’s membership for one year after accusing him of insulting the Parliament and its members.

The dismissal of MP Al-Ajarmeh was based on a parliamentary memorandum signed by 109 deputies calling for the dismissal of Al-Ajarmeh, based on the provisions of the Jordanian constitution in accordance with Article 72 and Article (164) of the House of Representatives’ internal system. The parliament did not consider the resignation request submitted by the dismissed MP Al-Ajarmeh.

The case of dismissal of Representative Osama Al-Ajarmeh is the second of its kind, as this case preceded the vote to dismiss MP Talal Al-Sharif from the membership of the 17th Parliament after he fired an automatic weapon under the dome after a dispute with his colleague at the time Qusay Al-Dumaisi.

According to deputies, what accelerated the council’s decision to dismiss Al-Ajarmah was considered an insult to Jordanian King Abdullah II, as he appeared in videos circulated yesterday evening, Saturday, talking about his threat to “kill the king with a bullet between his eyes,” in addition to other clips in which he appeared carrying Al-Saif invites the Jordanian tribes to join the rally he called today.

Government and security

The Jordanian government had announced in a session held on Sunday morning that it would not allow what it described as any "illegal gatherings."

Yesterday, Saturday evening, the Jordanian authorities announced the injury of a number of members of the security forces during events that took place in the areas of Naour and Al-Malah, south and west of the capital, Amman, due to what it said were “armed attacks targeting security forces in the Al-Maliha area near the Queen Alia International Airport road, and the work of A riot in the Naour area, west of Amman

A hasty vote, for

his part, accused the parliament speaker, Saleh Al-Armouti, of "hasty to vote and deprive the deputies of talking about the details of the memorandum and the accusations against MP Al-Ajarma, and of violating the internal rules of the council."

And he continued to Al-Jazeera Net, "We reject any abuse of King Abdullah II, the House of Representatives, and all Jordanians, and any attempts to harm the security and stability of our country. On the other hand, the dismissal decision will increase the complexities of the existing crisis."

Al-Armouti asked, "Where is the state's balanced and sane mind among the national and clan figures in pulling the fuse from this crisis, which is expanding, and things may reach unimaginable consequences."

Political analyst Jamil Al-Nimri considered what is happening a true expression of the absence of political reform based on political pluralism and parties, which leads to tribal and clan fanaticism in the face of the state, "unfortunately, the clan is being dragged into these disputes."

Appeal to reason

For his part, political analyst Hussein Al-Rawashdeh called for wisdom and rationality to get out of the current crisis, and continued in a post on his Facebook page, "only this recipe will bring us back to the right point, and close the floors of strife in which we have plunged those who do not fear God into This dear country."

Al-Rawashdeh added, "There is no doubt that people have endured and been patient and waited for years for relief to come, and that those who sat at the helm of responsibility did not pick up the necessary messages and did not take the initiative to do what was necessary to do, but the solution is not in the calls for mobilization. Which may lead to us going back decades, nor to erecting rhetoric of incitement and threats and spreading the spirit of revenge and revenge, the solution is in the victory of wisdom and the voice of reason and a complete bias in the interest of the country on the basis that there is neither winner nor loser.

The past few days witnessed youth gatherings in support of the dismissed MP Al-Ajarma, and the establishment of offices for his supporters, but the authorities prevented this and the Ministry of Interior and its security services dispersed those gatherings.

The crisis that has been going on for about two weeks between the authorities and the dismissed MP Osama Al-Ajarmeh is rolling like a flame, as the authorities accused Al-Ajarmah of inciting against the security services and holding illegal gatherings, and the Jordanian Ministry of Interior warned against holding such gatherings, participating in them and preventing them by force.
