A couple of weeks ago, Tiktok started flooding with videos that showed how people managed to attach objects such as magnets, coins, paper clips and keys to the body.

This after receiving the vaccine against covid-19.

After that, a theory spread that there must be something in the vaccine that causes this.

Since then, this #magnetchallenge has been rejected by various users.

But if so, how would it be explained?

Patrik Norqvist, physicist and senior lecturer at Umeå University, has seen the clips and says that there is more than one thing that does not agree with the statement.

- We can divide it into two different cases.

Secondly, if it is a magnetic material and we say that it is a piece of iron that sticks to the body, then the body itself must be a magnet.

Then you can also calculate how much iron the body would need to be able to attract a magnet and it is far above any lethal dose.

Hear him explain everything that does not really agree with #magnetchallenge in the clip above.
