Today, the situation is largely the same as yesterday.

On Saturday, the Coast Guard had divers on site who made an initial inspection to detect any leaks.

Now they are waiting for the salvage company to come into place and tow away the ship.

- But before you do that, you have to inspect the bottom so that there is nothing dangerous there that could damage the ship, says Anna Törnkvist, at the Coast Guard's command center.

Salvage at the beginning of the week

So far it has not been said when an attempt will be made to pull off the wreck, but the hope is that it will happen on Monday or Tuesday.

The Swedish Transport Agency also has personnel on site to examine the ship.

The investigation into gross negligence in maritime traffic continues, but so far no cause for the accident has been presented.
