According to the reconstruction of the facts provided by the investigators, the shooting broke out after two in the morning, when a couple arrived at the villa where a party was being organized in violation of the anti Covid regulations in force on the island. A fight broke out and the man fired several shots against the young man who was seriously injured, hit by six shots in the head and leg. A third Italian, aged 35, was slightly injured.
According to reports from the local newspaper, Periodico de Ibiza, the man sought by the Guardi Civil has precedents. Investigators are following various leads to reconstruct the motive, but the most accredited one seems to be that of a quarrel for reasons of jealousy.
