08 February 2018 Michelle Hunziker in a fuchsia fairytale dress opened the second evening of the Sanremo festival alongside Claudio Baglioni. The showgirl - in the Snow White version - convinced the artistic director to duet with her in falsetto on the notes of the song 'The well of desires', from the Italian soundtrack of Disney's 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. During the performance the two also joined Pierfrancesco Favino.



At the end of the piece, reached by Favino, Hunziker 'abandoned' Baglioni at the piano. Who expressed his discomfort singing: "I know here. You have noticed that I have stayed here. So let's go and begin ...", said Baglioni, starting the competition for New Proposals.

Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro suspended

The Ermal Meta-Fabrizio Moro duo was suspended from the Sanremo Festival race in the Big category. In their place tonight Renzo Rubino performed, which instead was scheduled for Thursday evening. The decision was adopted by the Rai commission and the artistic direction, pending the clarification of the matter relating to the part of the song 'You did nothing to me' where there is a refrain that was inserted in a piece proposed to Rai a few years ago. for another edition of the Festival, the work of the same author and not admitted at the time. 



The singing performance of Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro could take place tonight. But always with the condition of waiting for the whole question to be clarified through the "investigations still in progress of the alleged violation of the regulations" of the Festival. Thursday - in case the insights are in their favor - Meta and Moro could perform in the race.
