In his Telegram channel, he wrote that he was approaching Kiev.

“My decision was supported by my family and friends, who also received serious information about threats and risks,” the ex-deputy wrote.

Gudkov also told RIA Novosti that he plans to travel from Kiev to Varna, Bulgaria, where his parents are.

“I'll tell you about the plans later,” the ex-deputy said.

Gudkov and his aunt Irina Ermilova were detained on June 1, they are charged with causing property damage in the form of non-payment of debt under a non-residential premises lease agreement.

According to a member of the Moscow POC, Georgy Ivanov, Gudkov said that the criminal case, in which he was detained, concerns his parents' company, to which, as he claims, he had nothing to do.

On June 3, Gudkov's wife Valeria announced that he was being released from the building of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow due to the expiration of 48 hours after his arrest.
