In the early morning of June 5th local time in Indianapolis, the capital of the US state of Indiana, a shooting incident resulted in two deaths and two injuries.
According to US media reports, the shooting occurred in a parking lot in the northeastern part of Indianapolis.
The police station of the city received an alarm at around 2 am that day. The police arrived at the scene and found that 4 people had been shot. One of them was dead and one died after being sent to the hospital.
The other two people have been sent to the hospital for treatment and are in stable condition.
The police said the victim was an employee of a local company and the police are investigating the shooting.
There is a proliferation of guns in the United States, and there have been frequent shootings. There have been many shootings since the beginning of this year.
On April 15, a shooting incident occurred at a FedEx Center in Indianapolis, resulting in 8 deaths and several injuries. The gunman committed suicide.
