He expressed this opinion on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
“In the future, I think that such a minimum guaranteed income - it is also called the unconditional, basic income in the world - that eventually countries will come to this,” TASS quoted Kudrin as saying.
He suggested that "the minimum amount of education and health-related benefits will certainly be provided."
In May, Kudrin spoke about a way to reduce the number of poor people in Russia.
