US: jobs pick up, Biden calls for continued efforts

The unemployment rate fell to 5.8% in the United States: 559,000 jobs were created in May, twice as many as in April.

The US president welcomed these results, but called on the Americans to continue their efforts to ensure the full recovery of the US economy.

But Republicans believe Joe Biden is going too far with federal spending.

For example, they are proposing a budget of less than $ 1,000 billion for infrastructure, less than half of what the White House wants.
