Regarding Gaza, the US ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas Greenfield, said - during an interview with Al Jazeera's "Today's Meeting" program - that Washington is seeking to win additional international support for Gaza and its reconstruction, adding that the Security Council is closely following the situation in Gaza, and expressed Satisfaction with the steadfastness of the cease-fire.
Egyptian equipment and mechanisms arrived in the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing to help remove the rubble left by the Israeli bombardment, which targeted houses and residential towers in separate areas of the Strip.
These equipment and mechanisms are scheduled to start their work today, Saturday, as part of the operations to remove the rubble of destroyed buildings in Gaza, in preparation for the start of the reconstruction operations promised by the international community in the Strip.
