Four women and two men were indicted for willful violence, kidnapping and forcible confinement of a 17-year-old girl in Rennes, following a dispute on social networks, the prosecution announced on Friday.
The suspects were placed under judicial supervision.
The four women, aged 19, 23, 27 and 31 (with no previous criminal record except one) were indicted for willful violence with three aggravating circumstances (meeting, weapon, ambush) as well as for kidnapping and forcible confinement.
The two men, aged 20 and 21 (with no criminal record) were indicted for willful violence with three aggravating circumstances (meeting, weapon, ambush).
"Violated by a group of about twenty men"
The victim says he was forced by the suspects to get into a vehicle and taken to a parking lot in the south of Rennes, to have received a taser shot and to have had “the top of his clothes” torn off, the prosecution said Thursday evening .
She then recounted having been "assaulted by a group of about twenty men", one of them shaving part of her hair, before being brought back to her home after three and a half hours.

Part of the assault was filmed and broadcast on social networks.
"We saw the minor being jostled by a group of men", according to the prosecution.
The attackers allegedly accused the victim "of knowing the person behind a social network account that spreads rumors and insults, or even of being the person who takes this account", according to the prosecutor.
