"On June 5, near the village of Sukhtelinsky, Chelyabinsk region, an emergency landing of an An-2 small aircraft was carried out in the field due to a technical malfunction of the engine (temperature increase)," the ministry's Telegram channel says.
There were eight people on board the plane.
There were no casualties as a result of the accident.
The local transport prosecutor's office has begun reviewing compliance with flight safety legislation.
In April, the Mi-2 helicopter made a hard landing in the Krasnodar Territory, the pilot was killed.
