“From June 10, citizens of Russia and Turkey will be able to visit Azerbaijan by air, subject to the following conditions ... a document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or recovery from infection with this infection (covid passport), as well as a certificate of a negative test for coronavirus, made by the PCR method no later than 72 hours before the flight, "- leads the TASS report.

At the same time, it is no longer necessary to obtain a special permit from the operational headquarters under the government of Azerbaijan to enter the republic.

As explained in the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers, the decision to ease the requirements for citizens of Russia and Turkey is due to the stable epidemiological situation for coronavirus in these countries.

Earlier, Turkish Airlines reported that Turkey has simplified the rules of entry for tourists from Russia by allowing them to come to the country with a coronavirus vaccination certificate instead of a PCR test.
