• Pandemic The CCAA stand before the new restrictions of Darias: "Minister, let us review the document, tourism is in danger"

A "chaos".

This was explained from the Popular Party this Friday the measures taken by Health in the last Interterritorial Health Council "without the support of all the autonomous communities."

For this reason, the Popular Parliamentary Group has registered a petition in Congress requesting the appearance of Minister Carolina Darias.

The new regulation on the opening of bars and nightclubs had been rejected by various territories, including some governed by the PSOE.

Now, the discontent is transferred to Congress, where the PP will ask the minister for explanations about the criteria used.

They are not the only ones to make this decision.

The pro-independence parties with representation in the Lower House have joined forces to also jointly register the same petition for a parliamentary appearance.

These are ERC, EH-Bildu, the CUP, JuntsxCat, PDeCat and BNG, which consider that the decisions in the Interterritorial Council were taken in a "unilateral" and "non-consensual" manner with the autonomies, which is why they ask that the Minister of Health explains to the parliamentary groups the reasons for these measures.

The objective of the

popular ones

is that Darias "render accounts in Congress about the chaos generated by his proposals made in the last Interterritorial Health Council without the support of all the autonomous communities."

An "attack on sovereignty"

In the eyes of the pro-independence formations, these measures produced "an attack on the sovereignty" of the regional executives, who are those who have the powers in terms of restrictions once the state of alarm has been overcome.

As they explain, at the moment in which mandatory measures are taken from the Ministry of Health, an "invasion of competence" is taking place on the autonomic capacities, something "unacceptable" in the eyes of ERC, EH-Bildu, the CUP, JuntsxCat, PDeCat and BNG.
