The Ligurian tennis player, n.29 in the ranking and 27 in the seeding, surrendered to the Argentine Federico Delbonis, n.51 in the ranking, winning in three sets with the score of 6-4 6-1 6-3.
Tomorrow the other four Azzurri still in the match on the field: Berrettini against the South Korean Kwon Soon-woo, Sinner faces the Swede Mikael Ymer, and the Cecchinato-Musetti derby.
