  Nguyen Tsing Lung said at a video conference on the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic in Vietnam that day that this mixture of mutant strains is "very dangerous", is more transmissible and can spread quickly in the air.

This newly discovered strain mixture has not yet been named.

  According to the "Vietnam Express Network" report, seven variants of the new coronavirus have been discovered in Vietnam before, including the first variants found in India and the United Kingdom.

  There was a new round of COVID-19 in Vietnam at the end of April this year. There were multiple local cases in major cities such as the capital Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City in the south, and Da Nang City in the central part. A large-scale case of COVID-19 infection occurred in an industrial park in the northern province of Bac Giang.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, as of 12:00 local time on the 29th, Vietnam has confirmed a total of 5,213 local cases of new crowns, of which 3643 new cases of new crowns have been newly confirmed since April 27.
