4 dead and 11 injured in an attack on a car in Afghanistan

  Xinhua News Agency, Kabul, May 29 (Reporter Shi Xiantao) Tariq Arian, spokesperson of the Afghan Ministry of Interior, told the media on the 29th that a van carrying university teachers and students was hit by a roadside bomb in Parwan province, eastern Afghanistan. The attack killed at least 4 people and injured 11 others.

  Arian said that the teachers and students in the van were from the University of Alberoni in Capiza province, and the casualties were all teachers and students of that school.

  No organization or individual has claimed to have caused this attack.

  The United States and NATO troops began to withdraw formally from Afghanistan on May 1, and plan to withdraw all by September 11.

Recently, there have been continuous attacks in Afghanistan, and the security situation has tended to deteriorate.
