1812 new cases of “Corona” and 1779 cases of recovery
The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 204,487 new examinations were conducted during the past hours, to count the cases infected with the emerging coronavirus "Covid-19" and those in contact with them and isolate them.
The intensification of investigation and examination procedures contributed to the detection of 1,812 new cases of HIV infection of different nationalities, bringing the total recorded cases to 567,263 cases.
It also announced the death of five infected cases as a result of the repercussions of infection with the virus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 1673 cases.
And it announced the recovery of 1779 new cases of people infected with the virus, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 547 thousand and eight cases.
The Ministry also announced the provision of 110,605 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of doses that were provided until yesterday to 12 million and 756 thousand and 630 doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution is 128.98 doses per 100 people.
