This spring, the Khabarovsk "Warrior" martial arts club was preparing to move to its own gym, where more than a hundred children could train.

The section worked for more than ten years, but the athletes still did not have their own premises.

“This was supposed to be a real house for us, we went to this for so long, and then some people appear, destroy the building, take out our property,” says the chairman of the club, Vyacheslav Pozdnyakov, to RT.

Crime attack

According to Pozdnyakov, Voin received the property in December 2020, and attacks began in March 2021.

“The first time it happened was on March 24,” says Vyacheslav.

- unknown people began to break down the walls, dismantle the masonry.

Such visits were repeated on March 25, 26 and 31, as well as from May 1 to 12.

The intruders removed the panels, tried to disassemble the roof, attacked us when we tried to stop them, and each time they disappeared before the police arrived. "

As Pozdnyakov recalls, after he intervened for the first time and stopped the vandals, several cars arrived at the club.

When the athlete called the police, everyone left immediately.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Khabar region believes that this is a property dispute.

As the press service of the department explained to RT, the former owner of the building is still in litigation for ownership.

However, the "Voin" club notes that they acquired premises from the previous owner after all the trials were completed.

"Warrior" bought a room on Shkotov Street from an individual entrepreneur V.N. Chichelov. As follows from the materials of the court cases, this is part of a large facility that he built together with DV Invest, which provided him with a land plot. Under the contract, Chichelov invested in construction and in exchange received part of the area. However, later "DV Invest" refused to transfer the areas stipulated by the contract, stating that the investor had not fulfilled his obligations. Subsequently, the Arbitration Court of the Khabarovsk Territory ruled that Chichelov was entitled to a part of the premises built (the decision is at the disposal of RT). The businessman also won the appeal.

After the courts, it would seem, put an end to the dispute between partners, the club acquired premises from Chichelov.

“Perhaps we were dragged into someone else's dispute, to which we have nothing to do at all,” says Pozdnyakov.

However, he does not rule out that organized crime may also be behind the attack.

“Our city is small, everyone knows each other, we guess who is behind the raids on our club.

These are people associated with local crime bosses.

We teach children to respect the laws, to love their homeland.

There are those who are not satisfied with this.

These are structures that want athletes to join criminal groups.

This is no longer a matter of financial interests.

They want to strangle us so that we do not interfere with dragging young athletes into crime, ”says Pozdnyakov.

According to the athlete, among those who came to break their club, he allegedly managed to recognize Kirill Yagodkin, who had previously trained in the now closed fighting club "Master".

According to media reports, “Master” was founded by Natig Allakhveranov together with Yevgeny Rufanov, and a group of athletes engaged in racketeering and extortion worked under the cover of the club.

In 2014, Natig Allakhveranov received four years of general regime under Article 111 of the Criminal Code (“Causing grievous bodily harm”).

As reported, he demonstratively beat one of the members of the group, who decided to leave it, in addition, they demanded 60 thousand for leaving the victim.

In 2018, Natig's brother Anar Allakhveranov was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the murder of powerlifter Andrei Drachev.

Vitaly Kolodyazhny, the founder of the "Warrior" club, acted as an expert at the trial.

He concluded that the professional athlete should have understood that his blows could lead to death.

"Red tape allowed"

The founder of the "Warrior" club, Vitaly Kolodyazhny, is a well-known person in the world of sports.

He is a prize-winner

World Cup, multiple champion of Russia, winner of All-Russian and Far Eastern tournaments in army hand-to-hand fighting and judo.

Kolodyazhny combined his sports career with military service.

In the sports club of the army of the Far Eastern District, he oversaw the army hand-to-hand combat.

In 2007, Kolodyazhny had an accident and suffered a spinal injury.

Since then, he has been confined to a wheelchair.

But disability did not prevent him from developing the sport.

This year, the Acting Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev awarded him with gratitude for many years of conscientious work and great personal contribution to the development of youth sports in the Khabarovsk Territory.

“We are not just preparing athletes, but we are trying to educate children in the right spirit, to instill in them patriotism and respect for the law, so it’s a shame that law enforcement officers are in no hurry to understand this situation,” Kolodyazhny says.

Vitaly Kolodyazhny says that he sent complaints about the inaction and negligence of police officers to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Khabarovsk Territory and the prosecutor's office, but the situation has not changed.

As RT was told in the prosecutor's office of the Khabarovsk Territory, the police made four decisions to refuse to initiate a case.

Two of them have already been canceled by the prosecutor's office of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Khabarovsk, and in relation to the other two, checks have been requested on the legality of the decision.

"During the procedural checks, police officers admitted red tape, in connection with which the district prosecutor issued two demands to the head of the police department to eliminate violations of federal legislation," the department said.

They clarified that the issue is now under the control of the district prosecutor's office.

"No illegal methods"

The famous Russian fighter Sergei Kharitonov has been maintaining relations with the Voin club for several years.

He came to them in the Far East, gave master classes and is now monitoring the situation.

“I opened the club myself and I perfectly understand how they feel.

For ten years they rented the halls, fought and, finally, were able to acquire their own premises.

Everything is official, according to the law, and suddenly some structures start to drive them out, spoil their property.

They turned to the police, and they were told: "Protect yourself yourself," he told RT.

The athlete is outraged that the attackers have not yet been stopped.

“I called them up and said:“ No illegal methods ”.

You are doing a good deed.

You bring up the boys so that they do not drink, do not smoke, do not roam the streets, and should be examples.

You can't take knives, pistols and go and figure it out yourself.

Otherwise, what kind of respect for the law can then be told to students? "

- says Kharitonov.

In his opinion, the red tape of law enforcement agencies pushes athletes to break the law.

“It's just chaos, and it's not the 90s anymore.

Then a huge number of people died, and now they again want to involve the athletes in a showdown, because the police are inactive, "Kharitonov said.

He added that the destruction of the club where children train is low even by criminal standards, and the state must pay attention to the situation.
