According to the ministry, 5,228,322 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Turkey since the beginning of the pandemic.
During the day, 164 people with coronavirus died in the country, a total of 47 134 infected people died.
Earlier, State Duma deputy, former chief sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko urged not to go to Turkey even if the requirement for PCR tests was canceled.
