May 28, 2021European stock exchanges close the week with a plus sign.

In Milan, the Ftse Mib index marks + 0.45%.

London is weaker, stopping just above par, while Paris and Frankfurt do better with increases of more than 7 tenths of a point.



Among the securities in Piazza Affari, Cattolica Assicurazioni stands out, which today presented its quarterly accounts: after a session of double-digit increases, it accelerates further at the end of the session and closes at + 15.18%



The spread between btp and German bund is stable at 110 basis points, with the yield on the Italian 10-year falling slightly to 0.92%.



Meanwhile, inflation data arrives from the United States, which in April makes a sharp leap: + 3.6% for consumer prices and + 3.1% for so-called core inflation, net of the more volatile components. While household incomes fell sharply, -13.1%, largely due to the end of some direct support measures introduced by the Biden administration. However, the decline is lower than expected. Cautiously positive reaction of the markets: on Wall Street, all the main indices are up between 3 and 4 tenths of a point.
