He is sentenced to 18 years in prison for murder.

It was the night of 15 May 2018 that a woman in her 40s disappeared from her home in the Hjärsta area in Örebro.

Despite the fact that the police searched the area around the home, it took until 19 May 2018 before the body was found, then by private individuals.

It was behind a noise barrier just a few 100 meters from the woman's home.

Pretty soon, the man, who had an affair with the woman, was suspected of kidnapping and then murder when the body was found.

He has been arrested and released several times.

The man has always denied crime.

On May 6, 2020, Örebro District Court acquitted him of the murder, but the prosecutors appealed the verdict to the Court of Appeal.

The police investigation has been the largest in Örebro's modern history, according to prosecutors.
