Hesse has to struggle with light showers and thunderstorms for two more days, then it becomes increasingly summery.

On Friday it will initially remain rainy in the north of the country, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen.

The sun is already showing up more and more frequently in southern Hesse, and it is mostly dry.

The temperatures reach a maximum of 20 degrees.

On Saturday, too, the sky in the north and east is overcast and there can be light showers from time to time.

The remaining parts of the country are largely spared from rain at temperatures between 17 and 22 degrees.

According to the forecast, it will be friendlier on Sunday: The sun shines often and the temperatures climb to 19 to 23 degrees. There is also a lot of sunshine at the beginning of the week. The temperatures then scratch the 25-degree mark.
