“In recent weeks, we have been particularly alarmed by the airing of interviews apparently obtained under pressure.
We also followed other broadcasts of Belteleradiocompany on this issue, which caused other serious and completely exceptional concerns, ”the statement says.
The union added that "Belteleradiocompany will have two weeks to respond before the suspension comes into effect."
In March, the European Broadcasting Union announced a decision not to allow Belarus to participate in Eurovision in 2021, as the new song presented by the republic does not comply with the rules of the competition.
