Our reports this week:

> In

Gaza

, where the ceasefire has been described as a “strategic victory” by Hamas and an “exceptional success” by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Palestinian enclave suffered heavy losses.

Our correspondent, Gwendoline Debono,

was there to see the extent of the destruction in the aftermath of the ceasefire.

> In

Ceuta

, 8,000 to 9,000 young migrants entered the Spanish enclave on the Moroccan coast in mid-May. The Moroccan border guards quite simply stopped border controls in retaliation for the reception, by Spain, of Brahim Ghali, the leader of the Sahrawi separatists of the Polisario front, who went there to be treated. Once in the enclave, the migrants, including a thousand minors, found themselves on their own, without food and homelessness. Solidarity was quickly organized.

A report by our special envoys Wassim Cornet, Thameen Al-Keethan and Erika Olavarria

.

> In

India

, a new variant of Covid is causing an explosion in the number of contaminations and deaths.

While the country is the world's largest producer of vaccines, vaccination centers face shortages.

A report by Alban Alvarez and Deepika Singha.

> In the

Central African Republic

, the capital Bangui faced several days without electricity.

The water supply was also disrupted in several areas of the city.

In others, the crisis was not really felt since there was never access to running water due to the dilapidated infrastructure.

Designed in the 1970s for 100,000 inhabitants, Bangui now has 1.5 million.

A report from our correspondent, Clément di Roma.
