The Paris Bourse rose above 6,400 points Thursday at midday (+ 0.52%) before a string of US data which should animate the rest of the session and could generate volatility.

The day before, the Parisian rating had closed without trend (+ 0.02%) like its European counterparts.

Considering that inflation is temporary, the US Federal Reserve has recently reiterated that it does not intend to reduce its support for the world's largest economy in the short term, which is blooming again after the abrupt closure of activity in March 2020.

However, "market operators know that monetary policies will eventually have to tighten", with the return of a post-Covid growth phase, observes Pierre Veyret, analyst at ActivTrades.

Also, "everyone will carefully monitor new macroeconomic data to assess the speed at which central banks could reduce their accommodative approach," he continues.

Market traders await the second estimate of US gross domestic product in the first quarter in the afternoon, the durable goods orders report for April and the weekly jobless claims.

The promises of home sales in April in the United States are also on the agenda.
