Michelle said at a press conference after the meeting that the Tokyo Olympics has been approved by the International Olympic Committee and all necessary safety measures will be taken to ensure the safety of the Olympics.
Von Delane said that the European Union has approved the export of more than 100 million doses of the new crown vaccine to Japan, which is a strong signal of support for the Tokyo Olympics.
These vaccines are sufficient to vaccinate 40% of Japan's population.
