According to Taiwan’s "China Times Electronic News" report, the "Pandemic Epidemic Command Center" of Taiwan authorities announced on the 27th that there were 405 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia on the island, 401 local cases and 4 overseas cases. Entered cases; 266 cases were adjusted and regressed to local cases, 671 in total.

There were 13 new deaths among the confirmed cases.

  The "Command Center" stated that the newly added 401 local cases are 190 males and 211 females, aged between under 5 and over 100 years old, and the onset date is between April 26 and May 26, 2021. The case distribution is New Taipei City with the largest number of 177 cases, followed by Taipei City with 130 cases, Taoyuan City with 18 cases, and Keelung City with 15 cases.

  The "command center" further stated that of the 266 corrected regression cases, 140 were males and 126 were females, aged between under 5 and over 90, and the onset date was between May 15 and May 26; New Taipei City has the most 146 cases, followed by Taipei City with 101 cases, Yilan County with 5 cases, Taoyuan City with 4 cases, Changhua County and Taichung City with 3 cases, Keelung City with 2 cases, Chiayi City and Tainan City with 1 case each.
