“We need to take care of our national security, because, of course, further rapprochement between Belarus and Russia is a symmetrical growth of the threat that the Russian Federation will use Belarus to build up aggression against our country,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Kuleba also said that the position of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko “does not leave an opportunity to build any relationship with him”.

In his opinion, by his actions Lukashenka brings Belarus closer to Russia.

Earlier, the Embassy of Belarus in Kiev sent a note of protest to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in connection with the decision to stop air traffic between the countries.
