May 27, 2021 Hot benches between Rome, Milan and Turin.

After the word given yesterday to Lazio, today Inter fell on Simone Inzaghi again.

The Nerazzurri's offer to replace Antonio Conte and find a suitable replacement after Massimiliano Allegri preferred to return to Juventus, would be far higher than the 2.2 million that Lotito guaranteed to Inzaghi until yesterday: 4 million plus one bonuses per season for three years.

Only the official announcement is missing.

Allegri returns to Juventus

Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri are back together.

Here, too, there is still no official status, but the bianconeri and the Livorno coach should agree on the basis of a three-season contract with option for a fourth at 8.5-9 million euros per season plus bonuses.

The bianconeri and the Livorno coach had separated at the end of the 2018-19 season, after five seasons full of titles: five league titles, four Italian Cups, two Italian Super Cups, but also some disappointments: two Champions League finals and a semi-final. The failure to win the big-eared cup had made the club turn to a different solution which then responded to the name of Maurizio Sarri, but after just one year the coach of Figline Valdarno was also discharged more for lack of feeling with the locker room than for real results.

Surprisingly, last summer, in clear difficulty, the company had promoted Andrea Pirlo to coach of the first team. Although at the first experience, Pirlo in the end managed to bring to the Continassa an Italian Super Cup, an Italian Cup and a Champions League qualification won for the broken cap on the last day.

However, the failure to win the title weighed heavily in the balance sheet, the first Juventus coach to fail after nine seasons, and a game that has often left great perplexity. Pirlo also paid for sins that were perhaps not his and probably already indicated by Allegri at the time of the greetings: the team was and remains to be refounded. So, three exemptions in three years: what we saw in Turin on the Bianconeri side of the Po in periods of much deeper crisis (Ranieri, Ferrara / Zaccheroni, Delneri between 2009 and 2011 the most recent precedent).

Simone Inzaghi very close to Inter

Simone Inzaghi until yesterday seemed one step away from renewal with Lazio, today he was the protagonist of a sensational step back with the biancoceleste club, succumbing to the flattery of Inter who offered him a two-year contract (the figure should around four million plus bonuses, almost double compared to the 2.2 million that Lotito offered him), after having also probed the track that led to Sarri.

The now former Inter coach Antonio Conte, meanwhile, took his leave via Instagram, with a long post on his page accompanied by a photo of the celebrations on the lawn of San Siro last Sunday.

Inzaghi greets the Lazio fans

"With great emotion I want to inform you that my wonderful adventure with Lazio will end on June 30th". Simone Inzaghi greets the Biancocelesti fans with a statement to Ansa, formalizing, in fact, the end of his relationship with the club in view of what appears to be the now practically certain arrival at Inter. "I thank the club - he continues - the president, the players and the fans who have accompanied me in these wonderful 22 years as a player and coach. We fought and won together. These colors are and will remain forever in my heart: white and heavenly will forever be part of my soul. "
