During the weekend, the website Jagvillhavaccin.nu was opened by Pierre Mesure, who was inspired by the Vitemadose service in his home country France.

That page came about since it was perceived as problematic to get an overview of where there are free vaccination times.

Mesure tells journalist Emanuel Karlsten that he has mapped just over 25 percent of the available receptions in Sweden and that anyone on the site can enter their home region in the search field to find out which times are available.

"Information is completely missed"

Blekinge is one of several regions where almost all receptions are included in the service together with several regions around the country where it is possible to find free times together with Jönköping, Kalmar, Kronoberg, Örebro and Västernorrland.

Region Blekinge replies that they are not behind the new site and advises against using services other than 1177.se when it comes to booking vaccination times.

- There is also important information and we prefer that the residents go in there.

This page is not something we have given approval for and we only refer to 1177.se for the information you miss completely if you go the other way, says Region Blekinge's E-health strategist Åsa Gyberg-Karlsson.

No bank ID

She was notified of the new site on Wednesday and Region Blekinge is one of the country's regions where no bank ID is required to book a vaccination period.

This is why external actors can create code and set up a website of this kind.

- We have chosen to have an available vaccination booking for the residents, which means that you will very clearly not ask for a bank ID.

So we refer again to 1177.se and there we have quality-assured information, says Åsa Gyberg-Karlsson.
