Regarding the handling of the declaration, Prime Minister Suga discussed the response with related ministers such as Minister for Economic Revitalization Nishimura and Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Tamura at the Prime Minister's Office for about 40 minutes from 6 pm on the 26th.



The government has pointed out that the number of newly infected people is slowing down in the target area, and there is an analysis that the flow of people is increasing mainly in big cities after the Golden Week holidays. There are many opinions that the extension of is inevitable.
