On May 25, local time, on the first anniversary of the death of Freud, an African American man by the kneeling pressure of white policeman Xiao Wan, US President Biden and Vice President Harris met with Freud's relatives at the White House.

Biden stated that the U.S. government will continue to promote the passage of the George Floyd Law Enforcement Justice Act to reform the current situation of police violent enforcement.

In addition, Biden said before the meeting that Freud's relatives had shown extraordinary courage in this incident, and that the conviction of the white policeman Xiao Wan involved was a "step towards justice."

Biden also said that the United States will take more actions to address police violence and law enforcement and maintain ethnic fairness.

Before heading to the White House, Freud's relatives had already met with Speaker of the House of Representatives Pelosi. Pelosi reiterated his commitment to pass the police reform bill.
