This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, reports TASS.

He noted that Ukrainian airlines and airplanes have been banned from flying in the airspace of Belarus since May 26.

The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to prepare a ban on flights between Belarus and Ukraine.

The leaders of the EU countries at the May 24 summit recommended that air carriers from European states avoid flying over Belarus.

France and Great Britain have suspended the permission for flights of the Belarusian airline "Belavia".
