The five-year-old child Zaid bin Saeed Al Shehhi died this morning, 51 days after his stay in intensive care in the hospital, after he was drowned in the sea of ​​the institute on April 4.

Citizen Adel Hanhoun was working as a first assistant in the Civil Defense Department in Ras Al Khaimah. He explained that his mother and the maid tried to save him, but that the strength of the waves and their height was difficult for the task, and that led to his entry for a long distance in the sea water, and continued that he was contacted by the competent authorities and rescued by a citizen via his water bike and pulled him out of the water, and he was transferred to Saqr Hospital for treatment, where He was suffering from too much water entering his lungs and being unable to breathe normally.

He added that he was later transferred to Al Qasimi Hospital in the Emirate of Sharjah to complete the treatment, but the deterioration of his health for 51 days of his stay in intensive care led to his death, calling for the provision of lifeguards on the beaches for rapid intervention in the event someone drowned as a result of high waves and ocean currents.
