Pakistan’s special assistant to the prime minister for national health affairs, Faisal Sultan, said the product has passed rigorous internal testing and said this is an important step to help ensure Pakistan’s vaccine supply.

Within a few days, the Pakistani health authorities will review the vaccine and finally approve its use.

Thereafter, the National Institutes of Health of Pakistan will be able to produce 3 million doses of vaccine per month.

The report pointed out that due to private sales and rising prices, most people in Pakistan cannot get the new crown vaccine.
