As the representative of the Deputy Prime Minister of Victoria Abramchenko Marta Galicheva told RBC, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development will deal with the issue of introducing European technological regulations for electronics and household appliances.

It is noted that the first to take the initiative was the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov, he sent his proposals to Abramchenko.

“The manufacturer is obliged to supply the equipment with detailed instructions for its repair and to produce components for replacing defective parts in a volume sufficient for repair within 7-10 years,” Kozlov said.

In his opinion, the adoption of technical regulations will help reduce the amount of "electronic waste" that accumulates in Russia every year.

In March, the TV channel "360" broadcast that residents of the Moscow region will be able to hand over obsolete electronics at 13 environmental campaigns.
