　　On the same day, at the Hainan base of the National Hybrid Rice Engineering Technology Research Center of the Sanya Division Farm, early rice has been harvested, and Tian Yang is waiting to be prepared.

The wall post with Yuan Longping’s inscription "Developing hybrid rice for the benefit of the people of the world" on the roadside became a gathering point for everyone's grief: yellow and white chrysanthemums sent by people spread to the side of the road; on the side of the rice field, a red plastic bucket was used as an incense burner. With burning joss sticks, there is a glutinous rice wine named "Yuan Jiu" placed next to them; some people did not buy flowers, so they bought coconuts and betel nuts from a nearby small shop to express their memory in a unique way in Hainan.

　　Located in the lobby on the first floor of the Yuan Longping Rice Academician Expert Workstation in Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, local people spontaneously came to express their grief, including scientific researchers, farmers, civil servants, and sales staff.

　　The workstation was established three years ago to develop and promote "salt-alkali-tolerant hybrid rice" varieties and advanced technologies, so that the people in the grasslands can secure their jobs.

On nearly 1,000 mu of Xing’an League saline-alkali field, the yield of 533.95 kg per mu in 2020 far exceeds the “passing line” of 300 kg per mu.

　　In Guanyang, a remote agricultural county in the northeast of Guangxi, the average yield per mu of "super rice + ratooning rice" has been ranked first in Guangxi for 11 consecutive years, and Yuan Longping has been hailed as "Guangxi's first high-yielding super rice county" and "super rice cultivation level" First class".

Yuan Longping has been to the county six times.

　　On October 9, 2019, the workstation of Academician Yuan Longping settled in Xiaolong Village, Xinxu Town, Guanyang County.

As a student of Yuan Longping, Yang Tongzhou, the technical leader of the workstation, has followed him for more than ten years.
