Regarding the fact that North Korea has not responded to the ROK-US summit, the Ministry of Unification explained that "the timing and methods of responding to the ROK-US summit have varied greatly."

An official from the Ministry of Unification said, "There are still no reports from various media outlets in North Korea."

“When inter-Korean relations were tense like in 2017, before and after the summit, rather than being in a position on a specific agreement, the summit itself was criticized in the form of foreign-foreign cooperation,” said the official. "There were many cases where there was no response during the period."

Regarding the September 2019 Korea-US summit, an article was published in the Labor Newspaper that criticized the purchase of U.S.-made weapons, and said that the report was about two weeks after the summit.

The US appointed Special Representative to North Korea immediately after the US-ROK summit, and Secretary of State Blincoln has said that the credit has passed to North Korea, so it is noteworthy when and in what form North Korea will respond.

Unification Minister Lee In-young said in an interview with a radio broadcaster yesterday (24th) that he expects North Korea to respond, saying he expects North Korea to make some kind of judgment regarding the results of the ROK-US summit.
