In Norrbotten, there is only one case where the County Administrative Board threatened with a fine.

That was when a man living in Blekinge called for a demonstration in Luleå.

When it was time for the demonstration, the police and the County Administrative Board were on site and made the assessment that there were too few present for them to proceed with the fine.

Customers in store most common problem

The Pandemic Act, which entered into force on 10 January 2021, commissioned the County Administrative Board to follow up on how companies and events follow the restrictions.

The most common errors they have encountered have been calculations about the maximum number of customers in the store and lack of documentation.

- We see that the vast majority have complied voluntarily upon request.

Many have even made corrections in direct connection with our measures, says Lina Segerlund, head of the pandemic monitoring group at the County Administrative Board in Norrbotten.

Criticism of cruising and skiing

The Nordic Championships in Riksgränsen and Piteå cruising are two events that have been criticized for being arranged during the pandemic - but the County Administrative Board has not been able to review these - in the clip above, Lina Segerlund explains why.
