President Moon Jae-in instructed, "To ensure that the ROK-US summit that has achieved more than expected results can lead to practical results, we must make every effort to implement follow-up measures with relevant ministries."

President Moon made the statement at the meeting when he received a report of the follow-up measures for the ROK-US summit from President Yoo Young-min, presidential secretary, Park Gyeong-mi, a spokesman for the Blue House, through a written briefing.

On the morning of the 24th, the Blue House held a'Senior Meeting on Follow-up Measures for the ROK-US Summit', chaired by Mr. Yoo, and decided to operate a TF to review and promote the implementation of the agreement between the ROK and US leaders.

Regarding key industries such as semiconductors and batteries, and vaccines, a cross-ministerial TF was formed to explore ROK-US cooperation, and to establish a global vaccine partnership, we decided to form an expert working group in which ministries and pharmaceutical companies participate.

In addition, we have decided to prepare support measures to promote the cooperation of the Korean company consortium regarding vaccines, the supply and demand of raw and subsidiary materials and technology transfer, and cooperation with the international project'CoVax Facility', which is an international project for joint purchase and distribution of vaccines.
