Al-Jazeera Mubasher held a meeting with the family of the Palestinian scholar Jamal Al-Zebdeh, who was assassinated by the Israeli occupation and his son Osama during the recent aggression on Gaza.

The wife of the martyr Jamal Al-Zebdeh said that the occupation did not understand that even if Jamal Al-Zebdeh was killed;

If there is a thousand beauty of butter in our land, he has instilled in the souls of his children and grandchildren adherence to the Palestinian cause and defending it very dearly and precious, adding that she will raise her grandchildren on the path of their grandfather and will not deviate from the path of pride and dignity until they liberate their entire land from the usurper occupier.

The wife of the martyr Osama Jamal Al-Zebdeh confirmed in an interview with Al-Jazeera directly, “I will raise my children according to the approach of their father and grandfather, and the occupier will not be satisfied on our land, and the martyrdom of my husband and his father is an honor for all of us, and we pledge them to complete their path.”

On the second day of the “Saif al-Quds” confrontations, Israeli warplanes bombed the house of Jamal Al-Zebdeh, so that he and his son, Osama, were martyred. The “Qassam Brigades” called him, along with the commander of the Gaza Brigade in the “Brigades”, as Eissa.

After his assassination, the Occupation's Internal Security Agency (Shin Bet) described the martyr Jamal Zebdeh as a major force in the resistance weapon system, and was behind the missile production network in Gaza.

Before his death, Zebdeh was not known in the Palestinian arena, but he was working with the resistance to develop its military capabilities, and with him a group of local engineers and experts, working to transform the scarce resources in the Gaza Strip into advanced tools facing the occupation army.

Professor Jamal Al-Zibdeh, a professor of engineering sciences and mechanics, received his university education in Virginia, USA, obtained a doctorate in civil aviation and studied the engine of the F-16 fighter plane, then worked at NASA space agency, before returning to Gaza to champion the Palestinian cause.

And since 2010, the occupation has placed Jamal al-Zebdeh under surveillance, after he was running the head of the mechanical engineering department at the "Islamic University" to try to assassinate him and fail in 2012, in the last hours of the war.
