The risk of vaccination against Covid-19 is greater than its benefit for children, assured the DLF presidential candidate Nicolas Dupont-Aignan on Sunday, while the government is studying this possibility.

The vaccination of children from the age of 12 will "perhaps" be proposed in France in the long term, explained Monday the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, while stressing the priority given to the current vaccination of adults.

The French Medicines Agency (ANSM) rejected in April a request for temporary authorization to use ivermectin to treat or prevent Covid-19.
This commonly used pest control is the subject of an intense promotional campaign on social networks.
According to a panel of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO), the data from clinical studies to measure its effectiveness against Covid-19 have not provided convincing results.
