The scale and popularity of red tourism based on revolutionary sites and revolutionary cultural relics have risen in an all-round way.
In 2019, the number of red tourism receptions nationwide exceeded 1.4 billion, and the revenue of red tourism exceeded 400 billion yuan.
Many old revolutionary sites have become important options for people to travel and check-in places for Internet celebrities.
Young people have become a new force in the red tourism boom.
[Explanation] Many old revolutionary areas are old and young, bordered and poor, and their economic development is lagging behind.
Gu Yucai said that in the process of protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics, the cultural relics department paid special attention to promoting local economic and social development, improving people's livelihood and improving the quality of life of the local people.

In 2019, 73.08 million tourists went to Yan'an, bringing in tourism revenue of 49.5 billion yuan, and the benefits were considerable.
Southern Jiangxi is the core part of the Central Soviet Area, and it is also more difficult there.
Since 2014, we have invested more than 2 billion yuan in supporting the Central Soviet Area in southern Jiangxi to promote local economic and social development through tourism. So far, 54 counties in southern Jiangxi have been lifted out of poverty.
[Explanation] Revolutionary cultural relics are the physical relics of the red culture. How to make the revolutionary cultural relics come alive and better continue the red culture?

Through these novel methods, the revolutionary content and the red gene we spread are brought to life, and the revolutionary cultural relics are brought to life, so that we can better tell the story of the party, the story of the revolution, the story of the new China and the story of the development of socialism.
[Explanation] At the moment when the party was founded a century ago, a series of colorful exhibitions have been held around the party’s centenary. The State Administration of Cultural Heritage and the Central Propaganda Department selected a batch of outstanding exquisite exhibitions of the party’s centenary, covering 31 provinces, Autonomous regions and municipalities will be announced to the public in the near future.
