Three people, two men and a woman, have already been arrested, on probable cause on suspicion of a serious benefit violation.
The crime scene is Uppvidinge municipality, and the detainees were arrested and detained on Tuesday at addresses in Uppvidinge and Nybro.
Investigators, who have been working on the case for several months, suspect that the detainees, together with another person, defrauded millions in personal assistance grants that were never carried out.
