As Zakharova said on her Facebook, the Russian Embassy, with the assistance of the Nepalese authorities, organized the evacuation of Russian citizens who were stuck in Nepal due to the lockdown introduced there.

According to her, a specially organized Aeroflot flight took out from Nepal not only Russians, but also tourists from Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, Malta, Latvia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, as well as ten citizens of Ukraine.

“While everyone is grateful for their help, the Kiev regime could not get past the puddle this time too,” Zakharova said.

She cited the words of the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, who called the export of Ukrainians from Nepal a "Russian trick" and said that "Russia has begun to position itself as the savior of all citizens, regardless of their nationality and citizenship."

"When the state positions itself as the savior of all citizens, regardless of nationality and citizenship, and offers to assist in a difficult life situation, this, Dmitry Ivanovich, is not a trick, but a responsible behavior," Zakharova commented on Kuleba's statement.

Nepal suspended international flights on May 6 due to the worsening epidemiological situation.

On May 18, it was reported that the Russian Embassy in Nepal, together with Rossotrudnichestvo, organized a special export flight from Kathmandu for Russians.
