YouTube, a Google affiliate, has restricted access to Al Jazeera and its live broadcasts on its platform, in light of the ongoing coverage of the Israeli escalation in Palestine.
Since midnight, a message has appeared from YouTube indicating that Al Jazeera's content may be inappropriate and require verification of the user's age.
This comes amid what activists and media professionals say is restricting social media platforms on Palestinian content, and attempts to cover up Israel's crimes.
