As follows from the document of the American Corps of Engineers, contractors will have to design the structures of the facilities.

Among them are airports and related infrastructure, highways, ports, hospitals, manufacturing plants, power plants, water supply networks, and more.

In addition, the project involves the construction of runways, taxiways and aprons for all types of aircraft, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.

“The terms of reference include, but are not limited to, design services for military sales and military construction programs, including horizontal and vertical structures for various facilities,” the application said.

The contractors must also provide professional support at all stages of the work, including providing engineers and architects.

A total of $ 240 million will be allocated for the implementation of the project. The contract with the contractors is expected to be signed for five years.

The US Department of Defense intends to build new facilities in 20 countries of the Middle East and Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, the document says.

Earlier it became known about the Pentagon's plans to allocate up to $ 100 million for the arrangement of an "ammunition storage area" at the Powidz airbase in Poland.
