Many want to get vaccinated - but few know how to book

- Eight out of ten have a desire to get vaccinated but cannot book themselves, says Tekie Welday, health communicator in the Jönköping County region.

The fact that foreign-born people in areas with lower income and level of education are vaccinated to a lesser extent is something that the region's health communicators in Jönköping are now trying to counteract. 

"Individual responsibility important"

We accompanied Tekie Welday and Mohamoud Suldan to Bottnaryd outside Jönköping to inform foreign-born people.

- You have to decide for yourself, but we encourage them based on the knowledge we have.

We notice that many turn to social media for information, but we encourage them to contact healthcare, says Tekie Welday.

Mohamoud Suldan is optimistic.

He says he notices that the view of the vaccine has changed recently.

- Today we have met the next twenty people from different countries and most have a positive view.
